Go to the registration page and complete the requested details.
Alternatively, if you are registered on Facebook you can create an account with your Facebook details. Just click the button over in the right hand sidebar.
You will then be asked to verify your email address by clicking on a link that we will email to you.
Only lowercase letters and numbers are allowed for your username.
You must be registered and logged in to make friend connections with Wallingford Piper members.
Click on Members, then find the person you are looking for by searching in the list. You can change the order to alphabetical or last online, and there is a search box if needed.
Click on the member that you wish to send a friend request to. Their details will display. You will see the Add Friend link just under their username. Click the link, and a friendship request will be sent to the member. They will be notified next time they log into the site.
You can view your friends in your user profile. In the Admin Bar at the top of the page, go to My Account then Friends. You will see a list of your friends and their status updates.
Yes. Status Updates can be seen by anyone who views your user profile. You must be registered and logged into Wallingford Piper to create a Status Update.
To create a Status Update, click on My Account in the Admin Bar at the top of the page.
You will see a "what's new?" box. Type your update in there, and click on Post Update.
Status Updates will also be seen by your Friends in their Friends List. (To view your Friends List click on My Account in the Admin Bar at the top of the page, then Friends).
Your Avatar is a small image or photo. You can use a photo of yourself, or anything else you have permission to use. Keep it legal and decent please. :-)
If you do not upload an Avatar during your account registration, Wallingford Piper will create one for you! You can change it to something more personal if you wish.
In the Admin Bar at the top of the screen, go to My Account, Profile, then Change Avatar.
Browse to the image on your computer, then click Upload. You will be given the opportunity to crop the image to the right size.
We have several Community Groups running on Facebook. You can find the details and links to them here.
If you prefer to chat right here rather than on Facebook, we have our own chat group called Piper Chat.
You need to join a group before you can post in it's forum. Simply visit the group and click on the "Join" button.

You can post status updates or comments to the whole group in the Activity Log. Go to your group and click on the Activity Log tab to make use of this.
We have a Facebook Group set up specifically for Piper Sales. Feel free to post in there!
If you a registered and logged in member of Wallingford Piper you can create Events.
Click the Create Events button, then fill in the details. If you enter an address, it will display on a map for our members.
Your event will display on the calendar and on the home page.
You can inform and invite members of relevant community groups if you wish.

If you see an inappropriate forum post, please do let us know so that we can remove it. You can either contact an administrator directly by Private Message (Helen or Catherine) or you can use the Contact Form.
We will do our best to remove the post as soon as possible.

You can copy others into the message by including their usernames in the box provided. Enter a subject and your message, and press the Send Message button. Your message will now be sent to the member and they will be notified when they next log in.
